Who Should Attend

This course is designed for individuals who presently have or anticipate having the responsibility for radiation safety officer activities at their facility. Individuals who desire to establish or maintain a successful radiation safety program.

The Needs - How You'll Benefit from This Course

You will gain the technical information and practical experience to assure that you are well prepared to serve as an RSO. Specialized training for research, medical, biomedical, and educational programs, as well as for programs using sealed sources in irradiators, measurement devices will also be gained. The primary emphasis will be on how to meet the requirements of the NRC (Agreement States) and DOT.
