| Who Should Attend|
This course is designed for individuals who have been selected to serve as their company's Radiation Safety Officer as well as individuals interested in learning about the science and art of radiation safety. Other participants may included radiation safety personnel, regulatory managers, plant managers, plant engineers, industrial hygienists, instrument personnel, State radiation control staff, and other individuals interested in obtaining license authorization.

This three day lecture course provides RSOs with the appropriate reviews of relevant issues that influence the effectiveness of a radiation safety program. The course emphasizes a variety of administrative and technical issues that a radiation safety officer has to stay current on.
How You'll Benefit from this Course
Annual RSO Refresher training fulfills the requirements set forth by the NRC. You will gain the technical information and practical experience to assure that you are well prepared to continue to serve as an RSO. Specialized training for research, medical, biomedical, and educational programs, as well as for programs using sealed sources in irradiators, measurement devices will also be reviewed. The primary emphasis will be on how to meet the requirements of the NRC (Agreement States) and DOT.
Program Agenda *All courses are taught from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm each day
